Shingle Style Addition — Madison, NJ

A second floor level and a rear addition was constructed for this 1960’s cape in Madison.  Details on the front and rear create a continuous composition throughout.  Details include sweeps at the roof eaves, an intermediate band to break the scale of the house, a Nantucket style dormer, and a portico with a false door to the left by an existing staircase to create a symmetry.
